The position:
The Operations Controller is responsible for promptly obtaining over-flight and landing clearances worldwide, within specified time constraints. There is a great deal of client contact and the role is hectic, but very rewarding.
Key roles will include:
ü Direct contact with Civil Aviation Authorities to promptly obtain over-flight and landing clearances worldwide for various flights, such as chartered, private, commercial etc.
ü Planning and processing of client requests in accordance with statutory requirements and company policy.
ü A knowledge of business jets, and technical operational experience in a business jet environment.
ü Able to handle client requests immediately when called upon during your specific shift period of duty.
ü Customer orientated approach with an outstanding level of customer service skills and experience in meeting needs of VIPs.
ü A calm approach to problem solving and last minute changes and is able to work accurately under pressure.
The candidate:
· Must possess a Bachelor’s degree.
· A knowledge of flight time limitations and crewing.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Good IT skills, able to use Company IT systems.
· Methodical and analytical in approach.
· Commercial Airline operational awareness, including contractual and budgetary measures.
· Excellent Customer Liaison skills.
· Great interpersonal skills.
· Work effectively as part of a Team.
· Motivated and committed to Continuous Improvement.
· Flexible in approach and adaptable to change.
· Excellent telephone manner, and able to deal with all enquiries efficiently.
· Able to work under pressure and within time constraints.
· Additional languages would be beneficial. |
